Holmen has today acquired all of the Första AP-fonden's shares in Iggesund Kraft for MSEK 41. Following this purchase, Holmen is the owner of all the shares in Iggesund Kraft.
Holmen has already consolidated Iggesund Kraft, and the purchase will have only a limited effect on the consolidated result.
Iggesund Kraft is sole or part owner of hydroelectric power stations on the Ljusnan and Iggesund rivers with an annual output of 170 GWh. The company was a partnership financing arrangement in which Holmen and the Första AP-fonden had a 50 % interest. Holmen has purchased all the electricity generated.
