New head of Group Finance

Lennart Svensson, Chief Financial Officer at Holmen, has notified that
he wishes to leave the Group on June 30, 2001, to pursue other activities.

Anders Almgren has been appointed new Chief Financial Officer and head
of Group Finance. Almgren is at present head of the treasury department
within the staff. He will take up his position on April 1.
