Björn Kvick has been appointed President of Iggesund Paperboard AB,
Holmen's business area for the production and sale of paperboard. Kvick
will take up his new position on July 1, 2001.
Björn Kvick has been manager at Iggesunds Bruk, the largest unit in the
business area, for the past ten years. Iggesunds Bruk has a production
capacity of 300,000 tonnes per year and some 850 employees.
Kvick will succeed Per Ericson, Holmen's President and CEO, who has been
President of Iggesund Paperboard since the middle of August 2000.
Iggesund Paperboard had a net turnover of some SEK 4.2 billion in 2000,
when the number of employees was approximately 2,000. The business
area's three mills - Iggesunds Bruk and Ströms Bruk in Sweden, and
Workington in England - have a production capacity of 500,000 tonnes per
year.
Iggesund Paperboard produces and sells paperboard for packaging for e.g.
cosmetics, chocolate and confectionery, and foodstuffs, as well as for
graphic purposes.
