IT/Continuous Improvement

- new Group staff at Holmen

Holmen has made a decision to set up a new staff, Group Staff
IT/Continuous Improvement. The role of this new staff is to play a
proactive role in developing the Group's information strategy by taking
full advantage of the opportunities provided by IT and the Internet within
the organisation as well as in the marketing of the Group's products.

Anders Edstedt, formerly IT director within Modo Paper AB, has been
appointed to head up this new staff. He took up his new position on May 16.
