Holmen delivers concrete solutions to some of society's biggest challenges and has over the past ten years appeared on several indices of the world's 100 most sustainable companies. The Group now receives top marks and places itself in the absolute top tier of all companies assessed by the international analysis company EcoVadis 2022.
The Group's board mills in Iggesund and Workington as well as the paper mills Braviken and Hallsta have been awarded EcoVadis Platinum three years in a row, which means that all of Holmen's mills also belong to the absolute top tier of all audited companies.
Holmen Group receives a total of 76 points out of 100 possible from EcoVadis, which places the Group among the top 1 percent of audited companies.

Ecovadis assesses how companies work in four areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable purchasing. With more than 65,000 evaluations in over 200 sectors and 160 countries, Ecovadis is a guide for companies' choice of suppliers. EcoVadis methodology is based on international sustainability standards, including the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact and ISO 26000, which cover 200 categories and more than 160 countries.
