Holmen Wood Products announces the opening of a new facility in New Holland, Humber region of the UK. This decision reflects the continued expansion of the Wood Products business area within Holmen. The 2,500m2 covered storage will facilitate fast and efficient deliveries to buyers across the United Kingdom. The terminal will stock Joinery Products including Redwood, Whitewood and Glulam.
Andrew Nichols, Director Holmen Timber Ltd, says: “We are starting an exciting new service proposition from Holmen for buyers throughout the UK”.
Today’s announcement marks the latest step in Holmen’s programme to enhance its service to the UK. Nathan MacWard, Landed Stock Operations Controller, comments:

Holmen produces sawn and refined wood products for joinery, construction industry and builders’ merchants. Following the acquisition of Martinsons in 2020, we are now also able to offer engineered solutions for climate-smart and large-scale wood construction, both CLT and Glulam products.
