About the Torrberget-Tvärliden project
Holmen is investigating the possibility of applying for a permit to build and operate the Torrberget-Tvärliden wind farm in Norsjö Municipality, about 8 kilometres west of Norsjö urban area and 80 kilometres northwest of Skellefteå. In the map to the right you can see the location of the planned wind farm. A maximum of 21 wind turbines with a maximum total height of 300 meters are planned within the project area.
Based on the investigations and analyses carried out so far, the selected area can be assessed as suitable for wind power. The area has also been identified as suitable in the municipality's wind power plan.
