Wood products for industry

Specific properties are needed for specific purposes. Our high-quality industrial wood products can be tailored to your needs.

Holmen is one of Sweden’s largest manufacturers of wood products in spruce and pine. Much of our output is exported, but the Swedish wood processing industry is also a major consumer of our products.

We supply joinery timber for floors, furniture, windows and cladding, plus construction components such as industry-specific roof trusses and customised products in glulam and CLT. We also have a standard range of packaging timber.

The raw material for our products comes from Holmen’s own slow-growing and responsibly managed forests, or is bought in from private forest owners. Our advanced wood grading technology, which includes X-ray scanning, sawing with a horizontal saw, a trimming saw with camera sorting and batch kilns with pressure frames, produces even and stable quality, thus enabling us to meet our customers’ specific needs.
