We’ve never done this and we never will. The pulpwood that is made into paper comes from thinning, treetops and sawmill chips. Thinning plays a natural role in responsible forest management, enabling the forest to grow more rapidly and store carbon dioxide more efficiently. The wood is also certified and can be traced all the way back to its origin, which is crucial if we are to check that the wood is being harvested in the correct manner.
