We now have several opportunities in the Engineering function at Workington Mill. We mainly look for candidates with an engineering background.
Project Engineer:
Preferably with a mechanical, electrical or automation engineering background and qualified to degree level, we are seeking candidates who are passionate about the delivery of successful engineering projects. Working in true partnership and taking pride in handing over the finished projects to the mill process teams with exemplary ongoing maintenance schedules and documentation being a prerequisite.

Project Documentation & Asset Management Engineer:
The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation of an engineering qualification backed up by practical engineering experience in large scale industry. This is a key role in providing the link between the Project Department and the Area Maintenance Teams. Proficient in the use of AutoCAD with the ability to interrogate and understand engineering drawings and equipment manuals are essential attributes.

Maintenance Improvement Team:
We are looking for candidates with an engineering background and a proven track record in the implementation and sustaining of modern maintenance techniques with a good understanding of a manufacturing site.

Experience of world class asset condition monitoring techniques and the embedding of successful planned maintenance routines for major project investments, new and existing equipment is essential. A thorough understanding and appreciation of CMMS and the role it plays in providing the solid foundation required for sustainable progress is required.
