At the nursery in Friggesund, not far from Delsbo in Hälsingland, plants are grown which are delivered to forest owners in central and southern Sweden.
There are five large greenhouses of 2,500 square meters each, and annual production exceeds ten million plants.

Holmen in Hudiksvall & Iggesund
Holmen is one of the biggest forest owners in Sweden and the growing forest is the basis of our business. We are part of the ecocycle from seedling to plank, where the raw material is refined into everything from wood for climate-smart buildings to renewable packaging, magazines and books.
Together with Iggesund's sawmill, Iggesund's mill creates a biocombine with smart environmental solutions for the future. The mill supplies the sawmill with steam which is used to dry the timber and in return receives raw material in the form of wood chips to make pulp or energy.
