Find your perfect match
This magazine paper trinity comprises Holmen EPIC, Holmen TRND, and Holmen VIEW. Each has its own unique properties, matching the wanted look and feel of different kinds of magazines. Which one is the perfect fit for your content?
Holmen EPIC is a wood-containing paper that is truly capable of replacing wood-free alternatives. It has a brightness of 85 per cent, and 100 per cent whiteness, high opacity and great image reproduction.
Holmen TRND has a matt rough surface that gives your magazine an organic and natural look, making your magazine stand out from the glossy magazines in the newsstands. The feel of Holmen TRND might be rough, but don’t be fooled by the surface. Holmen TRND will give you vibrant images and an awesome print result.
Holmen VIEW delivers a silky surface with high gloss, but also excellent print quality and outstanding readability. It's perfect for content that demands the highest standards of image and colour reproduction.
You will love 70 gsm
We have let our papers gain a little weight. With a grammage of 70 gsm, these papers are more similar to papers that you have used before. But you will still be able to enjoy the benefits of our paper grades. One is the higher bulk that we get thanks to the fresh fibres, allowing you to buy fewer tonnes of paper, without compromising the thickness of your magazine.
Less carbon footprint
Will switching papers to a 70 gsm Holmen EPIC, TRND, or VIEW lower the carbon footprint of your magazine? Our paper profiles and carbon footprint calculations, based on the CEPI framework, will help you compare and determine the facts.
We grow a sustainable future
The forest is an invaluable resource that binds carbon dioxide and provides a renewable alternative to fossil materials. Young, growing trees bind more carbon than old trees whose growth has slowed. Through active and sustainable forestry, we increase our forests' capacity to absorb carbon dioxide. Paper is a by-product of sustainable forest management, made in resource-efficient processes.
