Formable Solid Bleached Board

Formable Solid Bleached Board

Inverform is a multi-layered product (solid bleached board, SBB), entirely based on fresh fibres. Specific fibre compositions are used for the various layers in the construction to optimise performance. The outer layers are dominated by hardwood fibres to promote smoothness and printability. The middle layer consists of softwood fibres for strength, flexibility and formability.

Product description

Inverform offers exceptional formability, product consistency, and unique stretch properties that make it ideal for the press-forming and thermoforming technology used to shape trays. It was developed for ready-made food packaging but is also suitable for cutlery and other packaging applications.

Inverform is an uncoated substrate that can be coated, extruded or laminated using all our available extruded barriers;  Polyethylene terephthalate (PET), Polyethylene (PE), and Bio E.

It is made from pure cellulose fibres sourced from sustainably managed forests and complies with FDA and other food hygiene packaging regulations.
