Explore the weightless concept

Holmen as a supplier of lightweight kraftliner

We are dedicated to changing the market in a sustainable way. This means we take extra care to live up to every promise of quality, reliability and correct deliveries.

Containerboard mill with low carbon footprint

We produce containerboard with an extremely low carbon footprint, thanks to an efficient process. All our paper mills use fossil-free electricity, giving us a competitive advantage that is important for your containerboard components. And by using fresh fibres that provide volume and strength as our raw material, we can reduce the weight of the kraftliner.

Our pulping method and paper machines bring out the best of the fresh fibres. This means we can support the market with more m2 and less CO2. We enable packaging industries – and end users – to reduce their climate footprint while using a renewable material.

Resource-efficient containerboard production

At Holmen Board and Paper, we use byproducts from Holmen Group's greatest asset, the forest, to make innovative, strong and lightweight kraftliner. Our products, made from fresh fibre from Nordic forests, play an important role in the European recovered fibre ecocycle, to keep the cycle running.
