About Holmen Skog

Our three main functions are: 

• Forest management
  We manage the Holmen Group’s forests, comprising one million hectares of productive forest land. 

• Wood procurement
  We procure wood for Holmen’s Swedish units – Braviken Paper Mill, Braviken Sawmill, Hallsta Paper Mill, Iggesund Mill and Iggesund Sawmill. 

• Timber trading
  We purchase wood from private forest owners, forest owner associations and sawmills. We sell this wood and the wood that has been harvested from Holmen’s forests to our own units and other forest companies, as well as to sawmills. Some 60 per cent of our sales are to external customers.
