ICC profile recommendation for Holmen TRND

Colour deviation from original tones, colour-cast in neutral grey tones and perceived image quality all have to be considered when choosing the most appropriate ICC profile. One single ICC profile cannot always handle all of these different aspects. The motif of the images to be printed also has a large impact on the final result.


In general there is an increased risk that a higher screen ruling may give a decreased print quality due to the higher dot gain. The half tone mottle may also become worse, especially in skin tones and similar. It therefore seems wiser to use the lower screen ruling.
